Kathy was born in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in Grove City, PA where she graduated from high school.  Her higher education took her to the Bradford School in Pittsburgh, PA where she received a degree in the Business / Secretarial field.

Kathy joined the Lakemont Veterinary Clinic in 1990, and has been employed there as a receptionist for the past 19 years.  She is devoted to customer service and the welfare of all pets.  Her compassion for animals shines through each day as she devotes much of her time talking to pet owners about their pet's health concerns.

Kathy and her husband Bill of 27 years have three "kids" - furry, four-legged ones that bark.  Maddie is a 13-year-old Border Collie, Karli is a 9-year-old Sheltie, and Sterling is a 6-year-old Sheltie.  She has trained all three dogs in agility, obedience, and rally.

Kathy has been an active member of the Altoona Area Kennel Association for over 8 years, where she participates in competitive events.  Her other areas of interest are movies, reading, and family time.
